Repair/Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:

The Repair/Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting minor in-home repairs in the homes of NYC senior and disabled residents.

Physical Demands:

  1. Required Constantly: Physical activity including completing necessary tasks to prepare and complete in home repairs, carrying of repair items and tools required for tasks, walking, sitting, and driving to and from homes throughout the five boroughs.
  2. Required Frequently: Standing; climbing stairs; carrying large boxes and tools (approx. 10-25 lbs).
  3. Required Occasionally: Reaching above the shoulder, and lifting 5-25 pounds, pushing and pulling.

Special Requirements:

This position is based out of the central office, with daily travel to clients' homes to perform repairs using a company van.

Compensation: $22.00 - $24.72 per hour
