Our network of more than 200 food pantries, affordable housing sites, and Jewish Community Councils provide services directly in neighborhoods across New York City.
Position Summary:
The Grants Associate supports the Grant Development team in maintaining, diversifying, and pursuing funding resources, including foundation and government grants. This role is responsible for researching and identifying new funding opportunities; drafting compelling proposals, reports, and program overviews in collaboration with senior grants staff to help secure and sustain funding for Met Council’s programs. The Grants Associate also maintains grant calendars, tracks reporting requirements and submission deadlines.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Grants and Resource Development, works closely with the Director of Government Grants, and collaborates with members of the grants team, development team, finance department, and program departments as needed.

Compensation: $60,000 - $68,000 per year.
